I have many notes and letters that Kay has mailed to me over the years. This one, composed in her 100^th year, was written in her beautiful, distinctive hand on lovely note paper.

Dear Rebecca,

The days slip by without my permission, so my accomplishments are few. I have a “Rebecca” Folder on my desk where-in I keep all items about you and your family. Thank goodness! or I forget.

We have had a large beautiful snow storm but to-day is a beautiful sky-blue day and no wind.

I’m sending LOVE to my marvelous friend, Rebecca, from Kay.

Maybe some week end, you can come visit.

I believe spring is planning to come soon, don’t you?
