After decades of research and data collecting the Plainfield Historical Society has put together an inventory of historical sites in town. This inventory, including photographs, land surveys, cemeteries, barns and historical narratives is now available on the  Massachusetts Historical Commission database website – Massachusetts Cultural Resource Information System
